For the second consecutive year, Coca-Cola renews its partnership with the Sanremo Festival, now in its 75th edition. This unique occasion celebrates music while simultaneously strengthening its commitment to environmental sustainability through the reactivation of the "Every Can Counts" initiative.
The project, part of the international "Every Can Counts" programme, promoted in Italy by the Cial Consortium, encourages the collection and recycling of aluminium beverage cans in outdoor settings and during major events. This year, Sanremo becomes the perfect stage to raise public awareness of the importance of recycling, contributing to reducing the environmental impact of the festival.
During the Sanremo week, Coca-Cola will offer visitors unique experiences, ranging from gourmet sandwich tastings created by food creator Davide Zambelli to pairings with pizza, a symbol of Italian culture, all accompanied by an ice-cold Coca-Cola.
Among the many initiatives organised by the company, thousands of mini-can samples will be distributed, supported by an efficient collection system. Animators equipped with backpacks and sacks will roam the streets of Sanremo to ensure every can is recovered and sent for recycling.
In this way, Coca-Cola and CIAL reaffirm their commitment to a circular economy for aluminium: a material that can be recycled infinitely without losing its properties. Italy has already achieved a record level of 93% in separate collection of cans, and projects like "Every Can Counts" contribute to further improving this performance.
Sanremo thus becomes not only the capital of music but also a model of sustainability and environmental awareness.
