The 11th Speciality Films & Flexible Packaging Global Summit, organised by ElitePlus++, is set to take place in Mumbai from 30 September to 1 October 2024. This prestigious event is expected to attract at least 2,200 participants from over 20 countries. Attendees will include raw material producers, converters, recyclers, machine and equipment manufacturers, and institutional representatives.
The summit will feature approximately 70 conference sessions, alongside roundtable discussions and B2B meetings, providing a platform for sharing the latest technological innovations in the flexible packaging industry. A significant emphasis will be placed on sustainability issues and pertinent regulations within India and on a global scale.
A notable focus of this year’s summit will be on sustainability issues. As environmental concerns become increasingly central to industry practices, discussions will address the latest sustainable materials, processes, and technologies that are shaping the future of packaging. Participants will explore ways to reduce the environmental footprint of packaging, enhance recyclability, and comply with emerging regulations aimed at fostering a more sustainable industry.
In addition to the conference sessions, an area with around 200 information booths will be set up to facilitate further networking and knowledge exchange on the sidelines of the event.
