S&P Global has recognised 759 companies in its Global Sustainability Yearbook 2024, out of 9,400 initially assessed.
Amcor, a global leader in responsible packaging solutions, has been recognised in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2024. This recognition places Amcor in the top 8% of companies rated by S&P in 2023.
The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook is an annual publication that recognises companies that demonstrate exceptional leadership and performance on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues in their respective industries.
This year, S&P Global recognised 759 companies in the Yearbook, out of 9,400 initially assessed using its Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) score methodology.
In the containers and packaging sector, Amcor has made tangible progress in areas critical to environmental sustainability. Amcor's commitment to develop all its packaging solutions to be recyclable, compostable or reusable by 2025 and to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 places it among the leaders in the packaging industry.
