SVR chooses Airless Micro from Aptar Beauty

French dermatology brand Laboratoire SVR has chosen Micro 30 ml rPET, Aptar Beauty's recycled and recyclable airless packaging, for the launch of its latest Palpebral collection.

Aptar Beauty, one of the world's leading manufacturers of dispensing and application solutions, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector, is now offering increasingly sustainable versions of its products thanks to the integration of recycled materials. The best-selling Airless Micro is now available with a container made entirely of rPET, which is recyclable in the PET stream.

Although recycled materials have a naturally greyer appearance than conventional resins, the experts at Aptar Beauty were able to match the container to the iconic pink colour of the Palpebral range, while retaining the translucent effect of the resin, allowing a glimpse of the precious formula inside. A winning combination for the dermatological brand, which has managed to preserve the aesthetics and consumer experience without compromising its commitment to reducing its environmental impact.

The Micro range is a top-fill airless pack that combines high performance, protection and excellent product evacuation. Available in 15-50 ml sizes with 300 cl contents, Micro offers a variety of shapes, materials and customisation options to match brand aesthetics.

Magdalena Kaminska, Marketing Manager EMEA, Aptar Beauty, said:

“SVR was looking for recycled and recyclable packaging that could protect and highlight the formula without compromising on appearance and content, and Aptar Beauty Villingen, Germany, was able to reduce CO2 emissions by 52% thanks to this rPET container”.
