24Bottles, an Italian design brand known for creating reusable, lightweight and colourful steel bottles that are easy to customise, has decided to collaborate with Green Media Lab, a communications agency, with the aim of spreading a common vision that focuses on the responsibility to create positive change for the planet and for people, sharing values of social and environmental responsibility.
Established in Bologna in 2013 thanks to the intuition of its two young founders, Giovanni Randazzo and Matteo Melotti, 24Bottles is able to reduce its carbon footprint thanks to its CarbonNeutral certified bottles, combining functionality, safety and design, while supporting conservation, reforestation and green energy production projects.
Specifically, the company decided to measure the carbon footprint of its products by calculating the analysis from raw material to production, from packaging to transport. The entire volume of these CO2e emissions is absorbed by the trees planted in the Oxygen Forest.
Together with TÜV Rheinland, one of the world's leading certification bodies, 24Bottles assessed and certified its products according to the Cradle-to-Gate Environmental Life Cycle Assessment for Greenhouse Gases - Carbon Footprint of Products (ISO 14067: 2018).
