The expansion of the Covid-19 and the consequent spread of food delivery on the one hand and smart working on the other, have pushed many Italians to consume meals in their homes.
This situation has meant that consumers have begun to look at packaging no longer as a “simple” container in which to store a food, but as a useful support where they can consume food in comfort.
In response to these new ways, Contital, which has been designing and producing aluminium packaging for over twenty-five years, has launched the range of naked and lacquered disposable aluminium dishes on the market, perfect for both transport and food consumption.
Made of recycled aluminium, the line is available in different shapes and sizes, and can contain any food - even strongly acidic and salty - thanks to the coating applied.
In order to provide consumers with a practical but also environmentally friendly line, the plates have been analyzed with an LCA (Life-Cycle Assessment) study, which showed highly competitive environmental impact values: this is because Contital is the only producer in the world of aluminum plates that, being part of the fully integrated supply chain of the Laminazione Sottile Group, can certify the origin of the 100% recycled raw material and optimize the production processes of the entire supply chain.
