adapa Group, specialising in high-barrier packaging for the food, tobacco, hygiene, and pharmaceutical sectors, has unveiled its latest innovations designed to promote sustainability and meet the requirements of the upcoming European Packaging Regulation (PPWR). With a Design for Recycling (D4R) approach, the company offers cutting-edge solutions for packaging fresh products, confectionery, coffee, and more.
The Latest Additions
Recently, the company has expanded its range with two new products: PaperFlow(re) P-type and MonoClose(re) P-type. The first is a recyclable flow pack designed for applications such as snacks, crisps, biscuits, and coffee refills, providing a tangible response to the demand for paper-based packaging. The second is a high-barrier resealable polypropylene (PP) solution developed in accordance with Ceflex standards. This packaging combines excellent barrier properties, recyclability, and resealability, supporting the transition to a circular economy.
A Future-Oriented Portfolio
Adapa's portfolio includes a wide range of solutions – including thermoformable films, flow packs, pouches, and paper films – designed to blend technical efficiency, recyclability, and strong visual appeal. Each product is developed to integrate sustainability and innovation, reinforcing Adapa’s position as a leader in the shift towards more responsible packaging.
Commitment to a Circular Economy
With the PPWR set to reshape the packaging industry in Europe, Adapa demonstrates that sustainability and performance can coexist. Through its innovation-driven and customised approach, the group delivers solutions that mark a significant step forward in creating a circular economy, addressing global challenges in recycling and resource conservation.
