Eredi Caimi, a company specialising in the supply of packaging systems and materials, is reintroducing its range of space-saving pressed pallets, made from 100% recycled materials, designed to meet the needs of light and medium loads with a strong focus on sustainability. The production of these pallets does not require the felling of trees; the process is based on the recovery and exclusive use of post-consumer wood, sourced from sawmill waste or recycled old packaging. These materials are ground, dried, and blended with a natural resin, resulting in new pallets ready for use.
Utilising this raw material allows for the carbon trapped in the wood to be retained for longer than in other applications, such as energy production, thereby reducing environmental impact. Eredi Caimi thus offers sustainable and innovative solutions for international shipping.
The recycled wood used to produce the pressed pallets is PEFC certified, ensuring that the material comes solely from sustainably managed forests.
