At the Agritechnica exhibition in Hanover, Petronas Lubricants International (PLI), in collaboration with CNH Industrial, presented two sustainable packaging solutions for the agricultural sector: Bag in Box Petronas Multi-traction NH Ambra and Multi-traction Case IH Akcela.
Both solutions, manufactured by Smurfit Kappa, consist of two components: an outer 100% recyclable cardboard bag and an inner soft plastic Cheertainer bag.
The inner pouch is more resistant to tearing, puncturing, stretching and heat sealing than other film pouches. In addition, the integrated, ergonomic spout provides a strong odour barrier and spill- and clog-free pouring to maximise product use and minimise waste.
At Agritechnica, visitors were able to preview the new product, which combines the shared values of the PLI and CNH Industrial brands. Innovation, sustainability, circularity and driving efficiency unite the two brands, which aim to support the agricultural sector by providing environmentally friendly solutions for agricultural machinery.
