From 4th to 7th November, Rimini Expo Centre (Italy) will be hosting the 28th edition of Ecomondo, the leading platform for the green, blue and circular economy in Europe and the Mediterranean area. This edition of the event, organized by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), will pay particular attention to sustainable packaging with a focus on materials, technologies and design models able to combine functionality, innovation and environmental responsibility.
The Innovation District will be Ecomondo 2025’s technological flywheel where start-ups, scale-ups and investors develop solutions to accelerate the ecological transition, such as sustainable packaging, new materials, chemical recycling and the recovery of non-recyclable waste. The Green Jobs & Skills section will focus on training professionals specialised in the design and management of circular packaging. The Lorenzo Cagnoni Award will go to the most effective innovations in terms of recyclability and environmental impact.
With delegations from all over the world, 166,000 square metres of exhibition space and 30 halls, Ecomondo 2025 confirms its role as an operational hub for businesses, institutions and citizens, where sustainable packaging will be a tangible lever for accelerating the transition towards a truly circular economy.
