Eviosys, a packaging manufacturer, and Barilla have teamed up to create a new package for Barilla's premium Pesto range. The Parma-based multinational has in fact entrusted Eviosys with the production and supply of airtight closures for Barilla Pesto jars. The new container features a logo, graphics and design highlighting the values of quality and sustainability that the food brand intends to convey.
The high quality sealing and optimal protection offered by airtight closures guarantee the preservation of the taste of Barilla basil and authentic Italian flavours. Eviosys supported Barilla's transition to a new packaging design thanks to both this closure and the installation of new capping machines at the Barilla Pesto plant. Taking advantage of Eviosys' expertise, Barilla abandoned traditional jars to adapt to the needs of its new line of premium products.
By combining circular packaging made from 100% recyclable material with a product which contains sustainable, locally sourced ingredients, Eviosys' packaging innovations continue to support brands like Barilla on their journey to a more sustainable future.
