On 29 October at 11:00 and 4 November from 14:30 to 16:30, a workshop and an online webinar will be held on Teams as part of the D4Pack Transnational Matchmaking Event, organised by the Innoskart Digital Technology Cluster.
D4Pack, a European project funded by the Interreg Central Europe programme, was created to identify innovative solutions in sustainable food packaging. With a budget of nearly two million euros, the initiative focuses on selecting the most sustainable packaging for SMEs in the food sector.
The event will be an opportunity to delve into the solutions adopted by companies regarding sustainable food packaging. During the afternoon, participants will discover the results of interviews conducted with food businesses in four pilot areas: Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Hungary.
Representatives from SMEs will share their experiences and best practices, illustrating the innovative food packaging solutions adopted in their respective countries.
Eight partners from five European countries are collaborating on D4Pack, including Cevi of Confindustria Verona, Lukasiewicz Research Network - Lódz Institute of Technology, Campden BRI Hungary, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia - Chamber of Agricultural and Food Enterprises, the University of Economics in Krakow, Innoskart Business Development Nonprofit, Proma-Pack, and the Federation of the Food and Beverage Industry of the Czech Republic.
D4Pack is a collaborative project lasting two and a half years, aimed at supporting agri-food SMEs in their transition to sustainable packaging solutions. Through the development of a transnational technology transfer service (TTS), the project will provide advanced tools for assessing the impact of next-generation packaging.
