Registrations for the Best Packaging 2025 contest, promoted by The Italian Institute of Packaging in partnership with Ipack-Ima and supported by stakeholders such as Conai, the Ethical Paper Packaging Foundation, and the Polytechnic University of Milan, are officially open until 13 December.
Founded in 1957, the competition rewards and promotes innovation in packaging design and is continuously evolving to keep pace with industry trends. Each year, it focuses on highlighting the most significant values emerging from the sector, which are central to the research and development efforts of companies. In 2025, the spotlight will be on technical innovation and technologies, coinciding with Ipack-Ima, the processing and packaging exhibition taking place in Milan from 27 to 30 May 2025.
Monitoring innovation in technological aspects represents an additional step for the Best Packaging contest in publicly recognising the innovative value of the packaging supply chain. It is undeniable that product packaging innovation is linked to advancements in production technologies,
commented Francesco Legrenzi, Director of the Italian Packaging Institute.
In addition to the main theme, several special awards will also be presented, focusing on environment and design, which will be awarded by the jury to participating companies.
The registration deadline is set for 13 December 2024, while the winners will be announced on 28 May at Ipack-Ima.
