Recent developments at Goglio

Important news in the packaging world brought to Cibus Tec by Goglio, solutions able to combine food safety and sustainability thanks to the use of mono-materials or very high barrier formulations that prolong the packaged product’s shelf-life and to the choice of large formats, ideal for optimizing transport and the preservation of food products.

Nadia Pante, Product Manager Aseptic Bags affirmed:

Goglio is a leader in the industrial aseptic market dedicated to food and food service - with a wide range of specially-designed solutions, formats and closures. The novelty at the fair is represented by a large-format aseptic package, made with a polyethylene content greater than 95% and therefore recyclable in the numerous recycling plants that Italy has available and for which it is a leader.

It’s a new green aseptic bag made of mono-PE multilayer material and EVOH coextruded laminate, an industrial package that can be disposed in modern recycling plants and which, like all the solutions in the Fres-co Aseptic System® range, guarantees preservation of the specific properties of products for a long period without the need for refrigeration and without preservatives.

Other proposals presented include the multi-layer laminate with FLEXI-AL aluminium in the B2B (≥220 l) and BIB (bag-in-box) format which stands out for its very high barrier properties and for the ability to further extend the shelf-life of the product, safeguarding precious food resources produced by the processing industry. In the formats suitable for food service, on the other hand, the Pillow UP packages, filled by the GNova packaging lines, packaging designed for liquid foods have been added to the standard line, in particular tomato pulp and concentrates, and traditional and tropical fruit. Characterised by a specific eco-design, which makes it possible to position them flat or vertical, they have high versatility and extremely small dimensions, guaranteeing in this way greater energy efficiency during the filling, heat-treatment, storage and transport phases. The latest version of the GNova SK packaging line, with a modular design and with improved performances compared to the previous models, was present in the show as an ideal solution for products that require sterilization and a low oxygen residue in the package. The line is equipped with a connection to the Goglio MIND remote monitoring system - the latest release of which has recently been presented.
