Goglio at Ipack-Ima 2025

With a 175-year history driven by innovation, Goglio will be one of the key players at Ipack-Ima 2025, taking place from 27 to 30 May at Fiera Milano Rho. Specialising in the design and development of complete packaging systems under the Fres-co System brand, the company offers an integrated portfolio including high-barrier flexible laminates, plastic components (valves and spouts), packaging lines, and advanced digital services.

Sustainability will be a central theme of Goglio’s presence at the exhibition, with a selection of flexible laminates also available in a "ready for recycling" version. This approach is fully aligned with the latest regulations and the growing market awareness of environmental issues. Sustainability is also expressed through technological innovation, thanks to the Fres-co System, which enables full traceability of materials via a unique code engraved on the reel core.

This code allows the laminate to interact with the packaging line through the Goglio MIND IIoT platform, automatically optimising processing parameters and significantly improving overall line efficiency.

The MIND platform is an advanced tool for real-time monitoring of production parameters, capable of collecting and analysing data on line performance, material usage, and maintenance, helping to prevent breakdowns and unplanned downtime.

Innovation and practicality will also take centre stage within the Smart Factory areas organised by Ipack-Ima. Here, Goglio, alongside key partners, will showcase two next-generation packaging lines. In Pavilion 7 – Stand C106, the G21 will be on display: a vertical automatic line for packaging whole bean coffee in a modified atmosphere with inert gas compensation, using 250 g mono-material pouches.

In Pavilion 1 – Stand C135, visitors can see the GStar in action – a cutting-edge solution capable of packaging ground and whole bean coffee both in vacuum and soft pack formats, reaching a production speed of up to 200 packs per minute in sizes ranging from 250 g to 1 kg. During the exhibition, GStar will package ground coffee in 250 g vacuum pouches using mono-material laminates.

Goglio is also among the finalists of the Best Packaging 2025 competition, the award promoted by the Italian Packaging Institute that has celebrated the excellence of Italian packaging for over sixty years. The award ceremony will take place on 28 May, during Ipack-Ima 2025.

With integrated solutions that connect machines, materials, and data, the Group reaffirms its mission: to innovate the packaging sector, improve production processes, and support customers on their journey towards increasingly sustainable growth.
