Following the announcement of the dates for the next editions of Ipack-Ima and Pharmintech, to be held at Fiera Milano from 27 to 30 May 2025, and Meat-Tech from 28 to 30 May 2024, Simone Castelli was appointed a few days ago as the new CEO of Ipack Ima.
Valerio Soli, President of Ipack Ima, stated:
The road to Meat-Tech 2024, Ipack-Ima and Pharmintech 2025 has already begun and I am convinced of the value that a profile like Castelli's can bring to the growth of our exhibition reality. Strengthening and innovating the offer will be the basis for action from here on in the coming years, interpreting the new market trends and following the continuous developments that are increasingly focused on international presence, digitalisation, technological innovation and sustainability. A big thank you goes to Rossano Bozzi, who has been asked to take on important new professional challenges and who has been able to consolidate the results and success of the exhibition, which, it should be remembered, attracted almost 60,000 visitors, more than 1,100 exhibitors and a total surface area of 53,000 m2. The most important technological innovations in the sector were presented in an event with a strong international flavour, attended by over 350 buyers.
The new CEO of the company that organises Ipack-IMA, Pharmintech and Meat-Tech brings with him in-depth knowledge of the national and international trade fair sector and many years of experience in management and marketing, having held the positions of Deputy General Manager of Ucima (National Association of Packaging Machinery Manufacturers) and Acimac (National Association of Ceramic Machinery Manufacturers).
It is an honour and a pleasure for me to be able to work with a high-level structure that has distinguished itself over the years in the organisation of international trade fairs in the processing and packaging sector," said Simone Castelli. My commitment will be to consolidate the work done so far and to develop new strategies, details of which I will be happy to present at the press conference scheduled for 5 May in Düsseldorf.
Another important development is the appointment of the new Board of Directors, with a number of new appointments of undisputed professional and managerial depth. In addition to the reappointment of Chairman Valerio Soli and Council members Luciano Sottile for Proma Pack-Ucima and Andrea Maldi for Fiera Milano, Simone Castelli, Managing Director, and Simona Greco, Council member, have been appointed for Fiera Milano and Antonella Candiotto and Gian Paolo Crasta, Council members, have been appointed for Proma Pack-Ucima. The appointment will be made at the international press conference to present the new look of Ipack-Ima 2025 in Düsseldorf on 5 May.
