Packaging Speaks Green presents the regulatory frameworks in place in the main geographic areas worldwide concerning sustainability in response to both the cultural habits of each population relating to buying decisions and the approach to recycling, as well as to industries’ research and development needs.
The aim of the forum therefore is to examine sustainability in all its aspects, focussing on the commitments, the legally binding instruments, and the implementation times that the various governments in the key markets are setting in order to support a greener culture and by comparing, then, the different regulatory approaches. This is a fundamental area as businesses cannot guarantee sustainable development without the support of institutions.
Speakers will include experts and representatives from the European Union, the United States, India, Australia and New Zeland, such as Nerida Kelton (executive director at AIP, Australian Institute of Packaging); Sanjay Kr. Chattopadhyay (director at IIP, Indian Institute of Packaging); Sudhir Mishra (founder & managing partner of Trust Legal Advocates & Consultants) and Cui Lin (secretary general at CFPMA-China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association).
