Packaging Speaks Green: the agenda takes shape with the participation of important international speakers
From 3 to 6 May 2022 at Fiera Milano Rho, the new edition of the international forum of the packaging supply chain.
With the participation of leading global brands such as Alibaba, Ferrarelle and Nestlè, lecturers and researchers, national and international institutions and consortia, Packaging Speaks Green is drawing up the programme of its third edition.
In fact, from 3 to 6 May concurrently with IPACK-IMA and Greenplast, the International Forum comes back, aiming to foster awareness of the term “green” and the applications of the circular economy to the packaging and plastic supply chains that contribute to the production of consumer goods.
A four-day overview involving professionals from Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa starting from the discussion of the guidelines of international legislation and financial support and also including green industrialization. On stage the point of view of the e-commerce world with Alibaba, the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and the eco-design – a design method based on the efficient use of materials, reducing the amount of waste generated, intervening on durability, repairability, possibility of updating and recyclability of products. The event will also focus on possible recycling alternatives, identifying those with the greatest potential in terms of environmental sustainability, touching on the issues of food saving, along with the best practices and experiences of different brand owners.
Pharma, beauty & chemicals, plastics and recycling, food saving, food & beverage, will be the industrial sectors involved through cross-cutting issues.
The registrations are also open on the Forum website, with the opportunity to access the exhibition centre for free for two days.
The Forum will take place in conjunction with two major fairs: IPACK-IMA, dedicated to processing and packaging technologies and GreenPlast, focused on the plastics and rubber industry.
Packaging Speaks Green 2022 is organized with the support of UCIMA (Italian Packaging Machinery Manufacturers’ Association) and AMAPLAST (Italian Plastics and Rubber Processing Machinery and Moulds Manufacturers’ Association).
