It is with deep sorrow that we share news we never wished to deliver: on 25th April, Stefano Lavorini, founder of Italia Imballaggio, one of the promoters of Packaging Speaks Green, and a key figure in the entire packaging industry, left us.
His contribution was fundamental in building not just a magazine, but a mindset, a vision: that of packaging capable of engaging with the environment, ethics, and culture.
A larger-than-life figure in trade journalism, a sharp observer, a refined and curious intellectual, Stefano combined professionalism with human passion in his projects. With Packaging Speaks Green, he helped give voice to a cultural movement that today has become a reference point in the debate on sustainability.
His editorials and reflections will continue to inspire us. We owe him so much.
Now, it is our task to continue this journey with the same enthusiasm, the same focus, and the same vision he had.
