"Mirror-effect" sustainability: Favini's Mirage

Favini paper mill, known for its commitment to eco-innovation, presents Mirage, a new paper with a mirror surface. It is developed with bio-based raw materials and born out of a research project for an alternative paper that is more environmentally friendly than the category.

Mirage's mirror effect comes in seven color variants, achieved through the innovative combination of a biodegradable, bio-based film made of bioplastic, thus sourced from renewable sources, with a natural colored cardboard.

The result is a line of FSC-certified cards in 400 gsm, and a silver variant in 120 gsm. Mirage is a paper for luxury packaging, as well as attention-grabbing invitations and printed matter.

To promote this innovation, Favini adopted a communication strategy inspired by Alice in Wonderland, embracing all communication channels: from the website www.favini.com/mirage to social media to an editorial product with a mix of print and storytelling.

With Mirage, Favini once again demonstrates its commitment to offering sustainable and environmentally friendly products without sacrificing the quality that characterizes its papers.
