Green UHF RFID tags for a sustainable IoT
Specifically, Tenenga's RFID Green Tags guarantee the traceability and retraceability of items, reducing the environmental impact of smart packaging to zero. This is because the transponder antenna is not made of aluminium: it is made with a special ink printed on a layer of paper, eliminating the need for the PET layer on which the antenna of the RFID tag is traditionally made. This guarantees a totally and truly eco-friendly Smart Packaging 4.0, in line with the Green Economy.
