Jindal Films opts for mono-material solutions in PP and PE

On the occasion of the CFIA, a trade fair dedicated to the agri-food sector, which will take place from 12 to 14 March in Rennes (France), Jindal Films will present two new films: BicorTM 25 and BicorTM 30 from the MBH568 range.

The BicorTM MBH568 range consists of transparent barrier films for high speed applications on HFFS packaging machines, using a new barrier technology in combination with Jindal Films' well-known VLTS coating technology.

MBH568 can be used to replace films with PVdC coatings as it offers the same performance in terms of WVTR (Water Vapour Transmission Rate), OTR (Oxygen Transmission Rate) and aroma barrier. Among other features, this range has a high gloss, non-slip feel and good resistance to abrasion and alcohol used in some baked goods.

BicorTM MBH568 has a higher stiffness than most OPP barrier films of equivalent thickness and can help end users further reduce the use of virgin plastics in mono-material packaging (95% polypropylene) and complies with Ceflex Ecodesign guidelines.
