Husky, a pioneer in providing packaging solutions, returns to exhibit at Gulfood Manufacturing 2024, taking place from 5-7 November in Dubai, to present its latest innovations and support the circular economy across the entire lifecycle of packaging.
The current dynamics in the global PET conversion industry - both upstream and downstream - present exciting new opportunities. We invite both existing customers, as well as emerging producers who are looking to enter the industry, to join us at Gulfood Manufacturing to share insights and explore how we can shape a more circular, sustainable future together,
said Wassim Labban, Vice President, Systems & Tooling, EEMEIA, SEA, ANZ.
At Gulfood Manufacturing, Husky presents a range of solutions aimed at:
- Promoting sustainability with technologies that enable the production of lightweight packaging, with a higher rPET content or made from bio-based materials.
- Supporting growth by adopting world-class manufacturing processes that accelerate time to market and simplify production.
- Stimulating innovation with industry-leading solutions that produce sustainable, safe, and attractive packaging capable of outperforming alternative materials.
- Increasing resilience by helping producers respond quickly to consumer demands and evolving market trends.
Sustainability across the Entire Packaging Lifecycle
As a sustainability pioneer, Husky has been at the forefront of developing circular solutions for decades. Among the technologies showcased at Gulfood Manufacturing, attendees will see:
- The debut of the HyPET6e platform, which integrates the machine, mould, auxiliaries, and real-time remote monitoring to set new standards for sustainable moulding, with advanced rPET capabilities, energy efficiency, and closed-loop quality control, ensuring the lowest production costs.
- Innovations in the design and development of circular packaging applications for food and beverages: lightweight solutions with high rPET content, label-free, using multi-layer technology, printed from bio-based materials, and with tamper-evident designs, including 100% PET caps for mono-material packaging that simplifies the recycling process.
- A demonstration of the Advantage+Elite remote monitoring programme: this connected solution uses end-to-end reporting to optimise operations, reduce waste, and improve overall equipment efficiency, especially for the production of packaging with higher percentages of recycled material.
