TIPA's compostable packaging offers an alternative to virgin plastic packaging with the same durability, shelf life, barrier, transparency and clarity. Certified to biodegrade in domestic or industrial compost bins, they leave no trace in the environment and offer maximum convenience to consumers.
The range includes coffee pods, zipper bags, mesh packaging and resealable bags, while TIPA has recently launched fully compostable and recyclable rice straw trays.
The UK company's innovations are currently being showcased at Packaging Innovations (21-22 February, Birmingham), a trade show dedicated to the world of packaging, which brings together packaging designers, buyers and suppliers to create opportunities for collaboration.
Daphna Nissenbaum, CEO and co-founder of TIPA, said:
TIPA's technological developments have created compostable packaging that reflects the positive attributes of plastic while leaving no trace at the end of its lifecycle. At Packaging Innovations, we look forward to meeting brand owners who want to meet consumer demand for sustainable packaging.
