Following the success of the inaugural edition in 2022, which featured 170 exhibitors across a net area of 6,000 square metres and attracted over 20,000 visitors from 55 countries, Greenplast returns. This international conference-exhibition is dedicated to the materials, technologies, and transformation processes of plastics and rubber, with a particular focus on environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
The event will take place from 27 to 30 May 2025 at Fiera Milano in Rho Pero. Once again, it will be part of The Innovation Alliance, comprising four exhibitions - Ipack-Ima, Print4All, Intralogistica Italia, and Greenplast - which will run concurrently, occupying almost the entire exhibition complex, allowing free movement of visitors across all pavilions.
Additionally, Greenplast will be strengthened by collaboration with AMI (Applied Market Information), which will coordinate the conference programme.
A Strategic Partnership
AMI, a recognised leader in consultancy for the plastics industry, will organise the Greenplast 2025 conference in collaboration with event organiser Promaplast. The conference will span four days, from the afternoon of 27 May to the morning of 30 May. This cooperation will ensure a programme featuring high-level sessions and technical content to address the industry's challenges, adopting an innovative and forward-looking approach.
Focus on Sustainability
The conference will explore the challenges and solutions for the sustainability of plastics, focusing on the most strategic sectors and analysing recent regulations and innovations in waste management, involving companies active in this field.
Roundtable discussions will feature brand owners, major retailers, raw material producers, converters, and others, with a focus not only on packaging but also on automotive and construction, where plastics are widely used.
Topics will range from waste management to mechanical and chemical recycling, from the eco-design of plastic products to the future of bioplastics, from marine pollution to the use of AI to improve environmental impact.
AMI’s expertise in recycling and sustainability, combined with Promaplast’s organisational capabilities, will further strengthen Greenplast 2025 and provide industry professionals with unique opportunities for high-level updates and networking.
