Between technology and sustainability

In a context that is increasingly focused on the search for innovative and sustainable materials and techniques, Corno Pallets, a company specialising in the production of pallets, known under its own brand name Presspall, has recently launched a new solution in wood, a natural and infinitely recyclable material that is still a valid solution for the production of packaging.

Specifically, it is a wood derived from industrial waste that is made by using glue, heat and pressure. The material is ground and dried, mixed with a special resin and pressed into a mould.

Unlike traditional wood, this special wood does not require any kind of pesticide treatment or marking and is not at risk of external contamination by insects or pests. It is also derived from industrial waste, giving new life to the wood while reducing CO2 emissions.

Among Corno Pallets' various initiatives to reduce CO2 emissions is its recent collaboration with iGreen Gadgets to produce coasters made from plantable paper. An eco-sustainable and fully customisable item, made from a special paper that will sprout once buried in the ground.
