The ninth edition of the “Injection, Blow Moulding & PET international” summit, organised by ElitePlus++, will take place in Mumbai on 26 and 27 June. With approximately 60 speakers from around the world, the event will provide an opportunity to discuss and update on the latest innovations - from materials to finished products, including equipment and processes - in injection and blow moulding of packaging.
The programme will also include around ten interactive sessions, as well as round tables and B2B meetings, while an information stand area will be set up on the fringes of the conference event. More than 1,000 trade visitors are expected in Mumbai, including representatives from multinational companies in the processing and packaging industries. The previous edition was attended by 760 delegates from 13 countries.
India's rigid packaging market is expected to exceed 21 billion dollars by 2028, driven by growing demand for packaging for food and beverages, personal care products and other consumer goods. In 2023, Italy's export of injection moulding machines to India will be around 815,000 euros, and that of blow moulding machines more than 3.5 million euros.
