A Circular Future with Plastics

The annual 2-day conference A Circular Future with Plastics is organized by European Plastics Converters (EuPC) association in cooperation with the national plastics associations Agoria and Essenscia - Polymatters. It will take place on 19-20 May, 2022 at the stunning Renaissance Hotel in Brussels, just few meters from the European Parliament.

The event will gather more than 250 representatives of the European Plastics Industry, local and national authorities, machinery producers and media in forums, debates and networking opportunities at the presence of high-level speakers.
The 2022 edition of the conference will count among its high level of speakers such as Soren Gade, Danish politician who has been a member of the European Parliament since 2019, and Lowri Evans, the director-general of Directorate-General (DG) of the European Commission. It is the European Commission service of the Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs responsible for: completing the internal market for goods and services; helping turn the EU into a smart, sustainable, and inclusive economy; fostering entrepreneurship and growth by reducing the administrative burden on small businesses.

The first day three market sessions on packaging, automotive and building & construction will take place in parallel. During the second day, the main conference will be moderated by the American journalist and political commentator Melinda Crane. Representatives of national and European politics, CEOs of the plastics manufacturing and converting world, as well as other industry leaders will share their knowledge and experience about the trends and challenges of the sector.

Considering that the idea of a circular economy, which offers new ways to create a more sustainable economic growth model, is taking hold across the globe, in 2017 EuPC decided to give birth to A Circular Future with Plastics. This event has offered the European plastics industry excellent networking opportunities combined with presentations from industry experts and policy makers year after year.
