Paper solution for kiwi fruit

Zespri, a global expert in the production and marketing of kiwifruit, launched a new range of recycled paper packaging in Italy a few months ago, designed to meet the needs of the market and the brand's sustainability goals for 2025.

The new packaging is also the result of listening to the needs and values of consumers, who are increasingly looking to buy products that use resources ethically, from production to disposal, and that have a low environmental impact.

The new design provides more space to communicate key purchase drivers and consumption patterns, enhancing the on-shelf impact of the increasingly recognised and sought-after brand in the F&V department. The redesigned structure optimises packaging operations, ensures good visibility and better protects the fruit inside.

Developed for the two varieties, ZespriTM Green and ZespriTM SunGoldTM, the new packs are made from corrugated cardboard with 30% recycled paper, are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified and are available at major retailers.
